Birthing Basics 2-Day - Novi
This is a series of 2 classes held on consecutive weeks taught by one of our L&D nurses. The expectant parent and partner are invited to attend these sessions to prepare for labor, birth, and postpartum.
Topics include:
- Stages of labor and delivery
- Relaxation
- Breathing techniques
- Labor coping skills
- Medical interventions
- Newborns
- Postpartum Care
- Tour of Labor & Deliver
- Each family will receive an Injoy Understanding Birth Book and Web App.
Class Notes:
- Feel free to bring some snacks and drinks.
- Please bring 2 pillows and either a blanket or yoga mat with you
- Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for class–both participants will be moving in this class!
Classes will be held at the Heart Institute Entrance, Classroom A, Providence Hospital, Novi Campus. Parking in the Heart Institute lot is free and closest to the classroom.
