Free Blood Pressure Checks & Glucose Tests for Diabetes Prevention and Awareness

Join us for a monthly blood pressure, glucose, and A1C checks at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Patients should enter through the main entrance of the hospital, then walk to the testing area located between Starbucks Coffee and the hospital gift shop.

What is provided:

• Blood pressure check
• Blood test for a total cholesterol and HDL
• Glucose test
• A1C test

What to expect:

In addition to any time spent in line, the patient can expect to spend between 10 - 15 minutes with medical staff. The blood tests, conducted via a finger stick, take approximately 7 minutes to return results, plus additional time for their blood pressure check and for results to be documented.

Patients should contact their primary care physician to discuss their test results.
