Friends and Family CPR - Rochester
This course is designed to teach lay-rescuers how to perform CPR on someone who is choking. The program teaches how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants and how to help an adult, child or infant who is choking. It is designed for family members such as new parents, grandparents, young babysitters, and generally those persons who want to learn CPR that is not needed for employment. Participants must be at least 11 years old. Children ages 11-16 must be accompanied by an adult. This class is not a certification class, however a certificate of attendance is available upon request.
Class will be held at Henry Ford Rochester Hospital (1101 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307) in Classroom 2B on the second floor. Free parking is available in the lot by the hospital main entrance. For additional information, please call (248) 844-4540, or email nbutty1@hfhs.org.
