Felted Mitten Workshop

What an exciting and fun class that you really must attend! We will be felting mittens. Felt Mittens are cozy, durable hand coverings from wool that has been shrunk and matted through a felting process with hot water agitation. This creates a dense, windproof and water-resistant fabric that stays warm even when you indulge in damp activities such as snowball fights. The mittens offer warmth without bulk and are often customized with embroidery of or fleece lining. The instructors (Lynne Paul and Rochelle) will demonstrate and guide/assist as required. All skill levels are welcome. All tools and materials are provided, however, if you want a preferred look, please bring an old wool sweater.
