Let's Make Beeswax Fabric
At last! A waterproof, sustainable, and reusable food wrap solution to plastic cling wrap and sandwich bags. Using organic jojoba oil, beeswax, scrap cotton fabric, and a cookie sheet, you can easily make your own beeswax fabric. Beeswax fabric is made by coating 100% cotton fabric with melted beeswax, creating a reusable, eco-friendly wrap for food storage. This is a simple, exciting and timely class that helps remove plastic from our environment and reduce costs. Reduce, reuse, recycle! ALL experiences are welcome. The instructor (Lynne Paul) will demonstrate, guide and assist as required. All materials will be provided, however, please
BRING A COOKIE TRAY OR LARGE CARDBOARD PIECE to transport your fabric home.
Donations are appreciated and welcome.
