Henry Ford Cancer Survivorship Celebrations 2026
Throughout June at various Henry Ford Cancer clinic locations, we will host events aimed at honoring the courage of cancer survivors while fostering a sense of unity within our health system and local communities. Each event is designed to celebrate the triumph of life, share educational and supportive resources, and remind everyone that no one is alone in their journey.

Henry Ford Webber Cancer Center- Warren Hospital
Drop in on your lunch break for a cancer survivor celebration and resource fair. Henry Ford experts and community organizations will be joining us to share information about programs to keep you healthy in cancer survivorship and beyond! Local artists will also be onsite helping you to create a community art mural to install at Henry Ford Cancer- Detroit!

Join us for a day of empowerment and connection from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Engage in interactive activities from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, including “Let’s Strike Out Cancer” bowling for prizes and the “Tree of Hope” finger-painted tree, while enjoying light refreshments and receiving a special gift.

Join us for a Survivorship Celebration featuring a barbecue lunch, music, and opportunities to connect with fellow survivors, cancer experts, and community partners. Learn about healthy living after treatment while celebrating the strength and journey of our cancer community together.

The Survivor Reset: Sound, Science & Sustenance: Cancer survivors will be treated to a complementary session of sound bath meditation, followed by an informative presentation on preventing cancer recurrence by Dr. Carmen Stokes, PhD, FNP-BC, CNE, LION, Navigator: SM Gavini Center for Cancer Prevention & the Prevention of Cancer Recurrence.
