Earn while you train for your ARRT certification
As a Radiologic Technologist Apprentice, you'll earn while you receive both on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Your training will prepare you to successfully pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam. Under the direction of a radiologist and/or registered radiologic technologist, you'll assist in performing routine diagnostic radiologic examinations according to department protocols. You'll work in a hospital setting with a fixed imaging unit, and/or in areas like the IPD, OR, or ER using a mobile unit.
What to expect from the program
- The Henry Ford Health Radiologic Technologist Apprenticeship Program is recognized by the Department of Labor (DOL).
- You'll complete on-the-job training and classroom coursework designed to prepare you for the ARRT exam.
- You must successfully pass all required testing, registry, and certification exams (ARRT).
- You'll complete all program competencies within the designated timeframe of the apprenticeship program.
- Positions are available at various Henry Ford Health locations.
What it takes to apply
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
