Room Service and Cafeteria

Henry Ford Allegiance Health understands that nourishing, well-balanced meals are important to your health, recovery and comfort. Our Nutrition Services team strives to provide you with delicious wholesome choices, according to your doctor’s orders. You can select items from our Room Service Menu, to be delivered when you choose.

Planning Your Selection

The Room Service Menu for patients who are not on a restricted diet offers a range of choices, from made-to-order omelets to personal pizzas to desserts and snacks.

If your doctor has prescribed a special diet, you will receive a Room Service Menu with appropriate food choices, so you won’t have to worry about ordering something that does not fit your doctor’s orders.

Heart-Healthy Options

The red heart symbols next to certain Menu items indicate foods that are appropriate for a cardiac, low-sodium and low fat-diet. Choosing these heart-healthy options will support healthy habits and your recovery.

Gluten-Free Items

For those with gluten allergies or sensitivities, gluten-free Menu items are indicated with a yellow “X.”

All foods items on the Menu are listed with a number at the right. This indicates the number of carbohydrate servings contained in the item. One serving of carbohydrate is equal to 15 grams.

If you are receiving insulin, follow the guidelines below to ensure you are eating within the appropriate times. Remember to allow up to one hour for your food to be delivered.

  • Breakfast: 7 – 8:30 a.m
  • Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1 p.m.
  • Dinner: 4:30 – 6 p.m.
