Trevor Szymanski, MD, MBA, is an associate chief medical officer for Henry Ford Hospital. In this role, he is responsible for providing operational leadership and implementing strategic initiatives involving utilization optimization, medical staff oversight and care experience. He works closely with Drs. Flannery and Gupta.
Dr. Szymanski is continuing to serve as the hospital’s medical co-director of Surgical Services, chair of the Quality Outcomes Committee, and division head of Cardiac Anesthesia. Prior to joining Henry Ford Hospital, he served as a cardiac anesthesiologist and clinical instructor at Brown University.
Dr. Szymanski graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesia at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He then earned his fellowship in cardiac anesthesia from Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2019, he obtained his Master of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
