Community Health Programs and Partnerships
The Caring Coalition is a diverse group of Southeast Michigan hospices, hospitals and other organizations whose purpose is to educate health care professionals and the general public about issues related to hospice and palliative care. The coalition was created by the Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network.
The Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital Demonstration Kitchen is the ideal destination for both adults and children to explore healthy cooking and learn about nutrition and special dietary conditions.
Relay for Life is a community fundraising walk created by the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.
Warriors for Warriors started at Walled Lake Western High School in 2011 with the goals of increasing cancer awareness, raising funds for cancer research and to help create ways for students to get involved with their community.
Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital sponsors the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission to host a series of free events and health fairs for the community, such as Kids Komotion Concert Series, Fall Fest, and Senior Health and Fitness Expo. The common thread in all events sponsored by Henry Ford West Bloomfield is that they are free to all members of the community. Your sponsorship allows us to continue to offer these programs at no cost to our community.
Our pharmacy participates in the Yellow Jug Old Drugs program to collect and dispense of unused/unwanted/expired drugs. Visit the pharmacy for more details.
