Community Health Programs and Partnerships

Listed below are a few of the many community partnerships we have established with area organizations.

The Caring Coalition

The Caring Coalition is a diverse group of Southeast Michigan hospices, hospitals and other organizations whose purpose is to educate health care professionals and the general public about issues related to hospice and palliative care. The coalition was created by the Jewish Hospice & Chaplaincy Network.

DK Cooking Classes and Kid's Educational Programs/Field Trips

The Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital Demonstration Kitchen is the ideal destination for both adults and children to explore healthy cooking and learn about nutrition and special dietary conditions.

Relay for Life

Relay for Life is a community fundraising walk created by the American Cancer Society. Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement.

Warriors for Warriors

Warriors for Warriors started at Walled Lake Western High School in 2011 with the goals of increasing cancer awareness, raising funds for cancer research and to help create ways for students to get involved with their community.

West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission Events

Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital sponsors the West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission to host a series of free events and health fairs for the community, such as Kids Komotion Concert Series, Fall Fest, and Senior Health and Fitness Expo.

Partners with the following chamber groups:

Chaldean American Chamber, Greater West Bloomfield Chamber, Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber, Lakes Area Chamber, Waterford Area Chamber, Huron Valley Chamber, Greater Farmington Chamber, Asian Pacific Chamber, and Novi Chamber.

Henry Ford West Bloomfield also offers health fairs, employee benefit fairs, career days, along with ongoing lung screenings, blood pressure screenings and blood drives.
