The eHealthcare Leadership Awards is a leading awards program that exclusively recognizes the very best Web sites of health care organizations, online health companies, pharmaceutical/medical equipment firms, suppliers and business improvement initiatives.

These awards highlight the Internet’s role in achieving an organization’s business objectives and recognize the hard work that has gone into creating outstanding health Web sites.

Some 240 health care organizations, representing a broad industry spectrum, received recognition for their outstanding websites and digital communications at a special presentation in Las Vegas. Winners were selected from nearly 1,100 entries.

Judges looked at how websites and other digital communications compared with others in their organization’s classification. They also reviewed entries based on a proprietary multi-point standard of Internet excellence. The best overall Internet site category, for example, had to qualify on more than 40 factors.
