HFH EM 45th Reunion Celebration- delayed but not cancelled

Covid has been tough on everybody but especially on Emergency Medicine. We’re in serious need of some R&R and fun.

That’s what we’re going to Nashville for the 45th Anniversary Celebration of the Henry Ford Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program on March 23-24, 2022

We’re staying downtown at the Nashville Renaissance Hotel where the meeting will be held. Although they’ll be partying every night, the big party will be on Thursday March 24th at The Tin Lizzy. We have rented the upstairs, patio, and rooftop and will have live music from Bobby McClendon and his band.

So what about Covid? According to our sponsor’s (i.e.: Henry Ford Health) regulations, all participants must provide proof of vaccination. I don’t think this will a big deal but the bottom line is: If you are not vaccinated against Covid, you cannot join the fun in Nashville. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination.

We cancelled this celebration in 2021 but we are “full speed ahead” for this March. We will be reasonable and careful and if Covid goes wild and it is not safe to have the program, we will cancel. We are hoping that we are in a Covid trough in March and that won’t happen. If the meeting does get cancelled, your registration money will be refunded.

The formal program announcement will be sent after the holidays. All the speakers are current HFH ER Senior Staff or alumni of the EM training program. We have worked hard to create an exciting and interesting program that will be of interest to everyone and will reward you with 12.25 hours of CME.
