I am a board-certified physician assistant currently practicing in the specialty of Infectious Diseases. I care for patients with various infections in both the hospital and clinic settings. I collaborate with other specialties to ensure patients receive well rounded multi-disciplinary care with clear communication to ensure best outcomes. I aim to ensure any potential barriers to care, or associated stigmas, are eliminated to achieve a positive patient experience. I enjoy staying up to date on current infectious disease guidelines through attending conferences and reading clinical journals and am diligent in improving community health locally. My professional memberships include Infectious Disease Society of America, HIV Medicine Association, Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
"My goal is to ensure that patients feel well informed and empowered regarding their treatment plan and recovery."
Special interests include management of invasive infections such as bacteremia, osteomyelitis, complicated skin and soft tissues infections, urinary tract infections and lung infections, as well as, treatment of hepatitis C, management of HIV, and education regarding prevention of infection.
