Jasmine Bhinder, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Jasmine Bhinder, MD, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. She grew up in Toronto, Canada, and completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Waterloo before earning her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bhinder completed her general surgery residency at the University at Buffalo, where she developed a strong interest in vascular surgery. She subsequently completed a two-year fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving advanced training in both open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.

Dr. Bhinder joined Henry Ford Jackson in 2026. Her clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of vascular disease, including peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, dialysis access, and venous disease. She is committed to providing individualized care using both open surgical and minimally invasive approaches.

Care Philosophy

I chose vascular surgery because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful and often immediate difference in my patients' lives. Vascular disease can have a profound impact on a person's independence and quality of life, and I consider it a privilege to help patients navigate these complex conditions.

I believe that good patient care starts with listening, building trust, and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their care. I take the time to explain each diagnosis, discuss all available treatment options, and work together with my patients to determine an approach that best fits their individual needs and goals.

Above all, I want my patients to feel that they are heard, that they understand their care, and that they have a surgeon who is genuinely invested in achieving the best possible outcome for them.
