Biographical Statement
Dr. Sairia Dass is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine who is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for hospitalized adults. She believes that excellent medicine begins with listening, partnering with patients and families, and ensuring that every clinical decision reflects each patient's goals, values, and unique circumstances.
Dr. Dass earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies before completing postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, where she became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and earned a DPhil (PhD) in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Oxford. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine in the United States and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Having trained and practiced medicine internationally, Dr. Dass brings a broad perspective to patient care and values building strong partnerships with patients from diverse backgrounds.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Dass serves in physician leadership roles focused on improving quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence across Henry Ford Health. She works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to improve healthcare delivery while maintaining a steadfast commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
