About Me

Biographical Statement

Jeffrey DeVore LMSW, ACSW, ACT, is a licensed, master’s prepared social worker with more than 20 years’ experience in adult and geriatric behavioral health.

He became interested in behavioral health because of a strong desire to help others manage and cope with mental health conditions. Jeffrey is passionate about helping adults manage their mental health needs through evidence-based treatment to improve their functioning and quality of life. His clinical areas of interest include PTSD, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, relationship building, personality disorders with a specialization in borderline personality disorder treatment.

He received is MSW at Wayne State University in Detroit. Jeffrey also received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy at The Academy of Cognitive Therapy and the Beck Institute in Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, he has received additional training through the Beck institute in PTSD Prolonged Exposure Therapy and has extensive DBT training.
