Jean-Marie J El-Fakhoury, MSW

Biographical Statement

Jean El-Fakhoury is a clinical social worker who has worked with adults for 15 years, in both outpatient and inpatient behavioral health settings. She believes that a meaningful life is one of service.

She became interested in behavioral health after a long family history of complicated behavioral health issues. She is passionate about helping individuals identify their paths to a life worth living and reducing suffering through meaningful connections and inner healing. Her clinical areas of interest include depression and anxiety with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy.

Jean earned her Master of Social Work at Wayne State University in 2005.

Care Philosophy

"I believe in patient-centered treatment. As a provider, it is my responsibility to meet my patient where they are, provide support and help them identify and reach their treatment goals. Regardless to their situation every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect."
