About Me

While studying general surgery, I was drawn to the plastic surgery specialty and was amazed by the wealth of knowledge demonstrated by the plastic surgeons. They are considered the “surgeons’ surgeons,” because they are often called in by other surgeons to advise on very complex cases. I knew that was the kind of surgeon I wanted to be.

After completing my residency and internship at the Detroit Medical Center, I completed a fellowship in Beverly Hills, California, where I studied under a very specialized facial plastic surgeon. There, I learned to perform deep plane facelifts, which is an advanced procedure proven to be long-lasting and very natural looking, without resulting in a pulled or stretched appearance. I also specialize in upper lip lifts. I am very excited to bring what I learned in Beverly Hills to Jackson.

In addition to providing cosmetic plastic surgery, I am experienced in performing complex reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction and labiaplasty.

Philosophy

I am a very down-to-earth and caring person. I want my patients to feel like they are at home with me and know I am with them every step of the way.
