Biographical Statement

While studying general surgery, I was drawn to the plastic surgery specialty and was amazed by the wealth of knowledge demonstrated by other plastic surgeons. They are considered the surgeon's surgeon, because they are often called in by other surgeons to advise on very complex cases. I knew that was the kind of surgeon I wanted to be.

After completing my internship and residency at the Detroit Medical Center focusing on plastic surgery of the body, I completed a fellowship in Beverly Hills, California, where I studied under a very specialized facial plastic surgeon. There, I learned to perform deep plane facelifts, lip lifts, eye and brow surgery, using advanced techniques proven to be long-lasting and very natural looking, without resulting in a pulled or stretched appearance. I am very excited to bring what I learned in Beverly Hills to Michigan.

In addition to providing cosmetic plastic surgery, I am experienced in performing complex reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction surgery after breast cancer.
