Biographical Statement

Leigh Griffin is a licensed, master’s prepared social worker with experience in individual behavioral health, case management in emergency and inpatient settings and collaborative care. She currently provides psychotherapy for adult patients in the Behavioral Health Integration Program, which operates within Henry Ford primary care offices. She has advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). She enjoys problem solving and helping patients become more aware of and better manage their mood. Leigh takes a patient-centered approach and strives to form strong treatment alliances. She received her MSW at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in 2012.
