Kevin B Harris, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Kevin Harris earned his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed his internal medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Harris then pursued fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at Henry Ford Health, where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year. As a fellow, he received the American Society of Transplantation Cutting Edge of Transplant Young Innovator Award. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in transplant hepatology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Harris currently serves as a transplant hepatologist at Henry Ford Health and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Michigan State University. His clinical and research interests include perioperative management of liver transplant recipients, portal hypertension, management of metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease, and general endoscopy.
