Biographical Statement

As a general pediatrician, I work with health maintenance, patient education and disease prevention of my patients. I have the advantage of working with children through all phases of their growth and development. I enjoy working with parents from diverse culture backgrounds and hope to respect each family’s cultural practices and heritage while guiding the best care for their child.

I am a strong advocate for preventative care and pediatric immunizations. grew up in China and during my life time, I have experienced and have seen many childhoods infectious diseases that most of us hardly think about here in the states thanks to childhood vaccines. Additionally, there is increasing evidence to support the dramatic impact that good management of childhood illnesses such as asthma can have on a healthy adult life. In addition to preventing disease, I also work with parents to promote healthy nutrition, healthy daily habits and healthy mind. As a pediatrician, I hope to draw on my lifetime of experiences to advocate for effective preventative health measures to help your child live as happily and healthily as possible.
