Dr. Jeffrey W. Johnson is a board-certified trauma and acute care surgeon at Henry Ford Health and serves as trauma medical director at Henry Ford Hospital. He specializes in the surgical management of critically injured patients and has dedicated his career to advancing trauma care, emergency surgery and critical care outcomes.

As a clinical leader within one of the region's busiest trauma centers, Dr. Johnson works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based care for patients with complex traumatic injuries. His expertise spans trauma systems, acute care surgery, surgical critical care and quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Johnson is actively involved in research, education and leadership within trauma and acute care surgery. His work focuses on improving trauma care delivery, advancing surgical best practices, and strengthening systems of care for injured patients across the continuum of treatment and recovery.
