About Me

Biographical Statement

Marie Kerwin is a licensed therapist who has worked with children, adolescents and young adults for the past 25 years. She provides care in an outpatient setting. She’s particularly interested in helping young patients as they transition from teen years to adulthood. Marie also works with parents, providing guidance and education about their child’s condition.

As she has worked with children and teens in both inpatient and outpatient settings, she’s uniquely qualified to recognize when a patient needs more intense care and works closely with a team of child/adolescent and adult psychiatrists. Marie has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Social Work from Wayne State University.

Care Philosophy

"No matter your age, I believe we all want to be the main driving force of positive change and success in our lives. As a therapist, I respect, encourage and support this philosophy in my patients. Working together, we discover and discuss any barriers to your success, develop attainable goals and design a treatment plan that supports your individual needs."
