Biographical Statement

Souad Maadarani is a licensed, clinical social worker who specializes in adult behavioral health in an outpatient or virtual setting. She strives to be an advocate and educator for every person who suffers from mental health, assist families in understanding mental health problems and eliminate the stigma of mental health disease.

She became interested in behavioral health to improve the quality of life and provide competence and empathetic care. Her clinical areas of interest included depression, anxiety, PTSD, women's behavioral health, postpartum depression, marital and relationship issues, and anger management. She received advanced training in cognitive behavioral therapy in 2006.

She received her Master of Social Work at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
