About Me

Biographical Statement

Kaliopi (Kelly) Melistas is a master’s level limited licensed psychologist with more than 13 years of experience as a child and adolescent psychologist. She enjoys working with children, adolescents and their families and has been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

Kelly currently leads an adolescent DBT Skills Group at Henry Ford. She is passionate about her work with the Pediatric Behavioral Health Integrated Care Program and working as part of a team with pediatricians to address emotional and behavioral health issues at the very first sign. She enjoys working in the community and has been a guest speaker and panelist for several community groups on mental health issues in children and adolescents.

She completed her undergraduate education as well as her graduate training at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan.
