About Me
Biographical Statement
Dr. Radjef was born and raised in Algeria. She came to the United States after medical school and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Radjef had great exposure to a wide variety of diseases and was trained to manage the sickest and most complex patients in the country. Over the years, she grew a deeper interest in cardiovascular disease prevention, notably in women. Gained expertise in cardiac rehab, weight management and nutrition counseling.
Her areas of expertise include prevention of cardiovascular disease, risk factors modification such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia, management of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure and rhythm disorders.
She also works extensively with young females with heart disease going through pregnancy, and created an official Cardio-Obstetric program, focusing on early identification and management of patients with cardiac disease during pregnancy and postpartum.
With the motto "knowledge is power", she strives to work on educating our community on healthy lifestyle, balanced nutrition and risk factor modification, as the best way to prevent mortality and morbidity from cardiovascular disease.
