About Me

Biographical Statement

Jill Sattler is licensed, professional counselor. She became interested in behavioral health because she loves helping clients reach their full potential and optimal level of functioning with putting their mental health and substance abuse issues in remission. She is passionate about the mental health field and the ability to help clients reach their life goals.

Her clinical areas of interest include depression, anxiety, PTSD, women’s behavioral health, postpartum depression, LGBTQ+ behavioral health, transgender health, addiction, and marital and relationship issues.

Jane received advanced training in substance abuse, and obtained her master’s in counseling from Oakland University, where she graduated with honors.

Jane’s preferred pronouns are she/her.

"I believe that every client should be treated with respect and have their situation looked at from their world view. My goal is to provide effective treatment to empower the client to reach their treatment goals in a timely manner. My hope for every client after completing therapy, is to have a more productive and successful life."
