Biographical Statement:

Dr. Semaan is a board-certified Radiologist, with fellowship training in Vascular Interventional Radiology and Breast Imaging. He specializes in all aspects in breast imaging and image guided procedures, currently serving as the co-director of the Breast Imaging Fellowship. Dr. Semaan practiced civil and criminal litigation before pursuing his passion for medicine. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at St. John Providence Hospital – Michigan State University, where he served as chief resident. He went on to complete his Vascular Interventional Radiology Fellowship at The Ohio State University and Breast Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital, developing clinical expertise in minimally-invasive image guided procedures and diagnosis of breast cancer. He has numerous peer reviewed publications in the field of interventional radiology and has given a number of talks at national conferences. His clinical interests include early detection of breast cancers using various imaging modalities and minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
