Henry Ford Macomb Hospital has been a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center since 2015. Since April 2022, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital began offering endovascular intervention for acute ischemic stroke treatment, a first step in the journey toward thrombectomy certification.

Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital has been a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Center since 2016.
In 2022, Henry Ford Brownstown ED became Joint Commission-certified as an Acute Stroke Ready Center, the first free-standing Emergency Department in Michigan to do so.
