Henry Ford OptimEyes offers an SMS program that allows patients to schedule appointments by text message as an alternative to calling the call center. Messages relate to appointment scheduling and the status of your appointment.

Enrollment and Consent

You enroll by providing your name, mobile phone number, email and selecting the clearly labeled SMS consent checkbox on our website. After enrolling, you will receive an opt-in confirmation message.

Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing services or receiving care. Consent applies to this appointment-scheduling texting program.

Message Frequency and Charges

You may receive recurring messages. Message frequency varies based on your appointment-scheduling activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.

Opting Out

Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive an opt-out confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent through this program unless you enroll again.
