We are the most experienced pulmonary embolism team in the region. Few centers in the country have access to the breadth and depth of experience in management of both acute and chronic pulmonary embolism that Henry Ford Health offers. Our multidisciplinary team comprehensively and collaboratively evaluates each patient to determine whether medical therapy under the management of the pulmonary hypertension team, or catheter-based intervention by cardiology or radiology, or surgical intervention is the best option.

We also accept inpatient and outpatient transfers, including those who have previously been considered untreatable, and offer 24/7 service.
