Our mission at Henry Ford Jackson Emergency Medicine residency program is to train and develop complete Emergency Medicine physicians. We cultivate young residents into experienced and well-rounded EM professionals who think critically, act confidently, and lead the room with integrity. Graduates of the program exhibit clinical excellence and embody the values of service to others. The training they receive imparts a necessary proficiency in billing and coding, achievable research, and an insider's view of the why behind administrative tasks and goals. Our community hospital provides a constant plethora of patient pathology with ample opportunity for learning. Our residents gain the skills and real-world experience to not just function in any emergent environment, but to excel.

As a faculty, we employ the art of bed side teaching, hands on learning, and resident autonomy with appropriate safe guards. We strive to give truthful and consistent feedback so our residents can grow with purpose. We value residents with proven work ethic.
