Ultrasound Track
Developing expertise in point-of-care ultrasound through longitudinal education, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship.
Point-of-care ultrasound is an integral part of modern emergency medicine, enhancing bedside diagnosis, guiding procedures, and improving clinical decision-making. Our longitudinal Ultrasound track provides residents with dedicated training that extends beyond routine clinical scanning, allowing participants to develop advanced scanning skills while gaining experience in ultrasound education, quality assurance, administration, and scholarly activity. Through close mentorship with our ultrasound faculty, residents build the technical expertise and confidence to integrate point-of-care ultrasound into everyday emergency medicine practice. The track equips residents with the experience, mentorship, and opportunities to improve patient care while advancing point-of-care ultrasound within emergency medicine.
