About Me
Biographical Statement
Ashhar S. Ali, D.O., FAAN, FAHS, is a board-certified neurologist and headache specialist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of migraine, chronic headache disorders, facial pain and other neurologic conditions. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve better symptom control and improved quality of life through personalized, evidence-based care.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ali is deeply committed to medical education and physician training. He serves as associate program director for the Henry Ford Neurology Residency Program and fellowship director for the Headache Medicine Fellowship. He is a clinical associate professor of neurology and ophthalmology at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and a clinical assistant professor of neurology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He also serves as a faculty instructor for Henry Ford Health's High Impact Education Endorsement program.
Dr. Ali's contributions to medical education have been recognized with the Wayne State University School of Medicine Excellence in Teaching Award and two Henry Ford Neurology Residency Faculty Teacher of the Year Awards.
