Haley Garr, AuD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Haley Garr is a Michigan native and graduate of Central Michigan University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in communication sciences and disorders with an emphasis in audiology. She then attended Wayne State University for her graduate education, where she earned her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree. During her doctoral program, Dr. Garr developed expertise in diagnosing and managing hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages. Her training included comprehensive coursework, a wide variety of clinical rotations, as well as hands-on research experience.

Dr. Garr then went on to complete her clinical fellowship at Henry Ford Health, where she gained additional hands-on experience providing patient-centered and evidence-based care. Following the conclusion of her fellowship, Dr. Garr remained on-staff as a senior staff audiologist practicing out of the West Bloomfield hospital. She is particularly passionate about cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices as well as comprehensive diagnostic testing, though she enjoys every aspect of the field. Dedicated to improving patients' quality of life through evidence-based practices, Dr. Garr combines cutting-edge technology with highly compassionate care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), the American Cochlear Implant Alliance (ACIA), and the Michigan Audiology Coalition (MAC).
