About Me

Biographical Statement

Vincent Lizzio, MD is a Henry Ford Health Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon.

Born and raised in Plymouth-Canton, he attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a degree in Biochemistry with High Honors and Distinction. He completed his medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine and remained in Detroit for his orthopedic training at Henry Ford Health, ultimately serving as the chief academic resident in his last year of training. He then completed his sports medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic where he helped cover the Cleveland Cavaliers and Guardians.

Having returned to Henry Ford Health as a staff surgeon, Dr. Lizzio is excited to provide care for the local community and serve athletes of all skills levels.

My passion lies in helping people return to activities that they enjoy, regardless of age or activity level. I aim to provide the highest quality of care by having a genuine understanding of the patient, demonstrating exceptional communication, and always striving towards clinical excellence.
