Orthognathic surgery (also called jaw surgery) helps correct jaws that are crooked, out of alignment or too big or too small.

Improperly aligned jaws can lead to trouble chewing, swallowing, speaking, breathing and fully closing your mouth. Moving the jaw into its proper place improves the function and appearance of your mouth, as well as facial symmetry.

Your orthodontist may refer you to our practice if you need corrective jaw surgery to address an underlying growth problem with your jaw.

Many of our patients are teens and young adults. They come to us after a referral from their orthodontist.
