Heart surgery procedures within the Henry Ford Heart & Vascular team range from traditional open heart surgery to minimally invasive cardiac surgery procedures. Our heart surgeons are well versed in coronary artery bypass surgery, robot assisted heart surgery, and use of LVAD heart devices.

We are also one of few programs in Michigan that offer hybrid operating rooms. Here cardiac surgeons work side by side with interventional cardiologists and radiologists delivering comprehensive surgical treatments.
