School-Based Health Center Locations

The school-based health centers (also called child and adolescent health centers) are a mini-doctor’s office located inside elementary, middle and high schools across metro-Detroit. Each center is unique based on student population, grant requirements and school needs.

The health centers are staffed by a variety of providers including: nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, social workers, rotation physicians and a rotating child and adolescent psychiatrist.

The health centers listed below are supported by Henry Ford Health System and the Michigan Department of Community Health – Child and Adolescent Health Center grant funding and billing reimbursement:

  • You currently have a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
  • In the past 21 days, you have been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • In the past 14 days, you have had contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19
  • You are experiencing a new loss of taste and/or sense of smell
  • If you have experienced two or more of the following symptoms in the last 3 days:
    • fever
    • chills
    • drenching sweats
    • new cough
    • shortness of breath
    • body aches
    • headache
    • sore throat
    • runny nose or nasal congestion
    • nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
