Seven Henry Ford Health hospitals have been recognized by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as Blue Distinction Centers (BDC) and Blue Distinction Centers+ (BDC+) for spine surgery — a recognition awarded to hospitals with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, specialized expertise, and better patient outcomes. Hospitals that received the distinction are:

These 7 hospitals were among a total of 10 hospitals across Michigan noted with these distinctions from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and they are the only hospitals in southeast Michigan to be recognized.
