Screening and Testing
Hearing screenings are the first step in a patient's hearing journey. Infant screenings are routinely done across the system at all our birthing hospitals and adult hearing screenings are commonly offered online, through health fairs or as part of your primary care physicians office visit. These screenings are helpful, as they usually are the first indication of hearing loss in an individual. While general screenings can provide a preliminary indication of hearing health, they are not a substitute for a comprehensive audiological exam.
For those who need further evaluation, our Doctors of Audiology offer state-of-the-art audiometric exams for newborns, children, and adults, providing the detailed analysis needed to accurately diagnose and manage hearing loss.
The team offers several patient resources to help in the hearing journey.
