New Patient Tower
At Henry Ford Macomb, we’re proud to offer the highest quality of care close to home. That is why we are working to construct a brand-new, five-story tower to give every patient their own private room while receiving outstanding care. The new 160-bed tower, the largest single healthcare investment in Macomb County—will also include a 11,600-square-foot expansion of the hospital's powerhouse, additional parking and other site improvements.
In an emergency, there is no time to waste: you need excellent care quickly and in your neighborhood. That’s why Henry Ford Macomb—already a Level II trauma center—has recently expanded, thanks to the support of our generous donors, its trauma bays to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.
Behavioral health conditions are on the rise in the United States, and not only can they disrupt the lives of sufferers but those of their families as well. Henry Ford Macomb behavioral health specialists treat conditions that affect our patients’ mental well-being with compassionate, customized care at a convenient location. Your support enables us to continue to bolster our programs for mental health, addiction treatment and behavioral therapy for thousands of patients, so that they can live happier, more fulfilled lives.

A portable heart-lung support system called ECMO, which was donated by a generous Henry Ford Macomb Hospital supporter, is credited as the crucial component in saving the life of a 49-year old patient from Waterford.
