We are accredited for 2 total Independent positions. We accept both ESIR and non-ESIR applicants.

ESIR

An Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology (ESIR) curriculum is offered for Diagnostic Radiology residents. This pathway enables DR residents to gain advanced training in IR and IR-related specialties during their PGY-5 year. Completing this curriculum enables residents to gain advanced standing in an IR-Independent Residency program. Instead of completing 2 additional years of training after DR residency, ESIR residents only have to complete 1 additional year of IR-Independent training. There are up to 2 positions available per year. Acceptance into the ESIR curriculum is by application at the end of the DR PGY-3 year.

IR Call

IR specific call responsibilities will be during IR rotations only. Call is generally one day per week and one weekend per month.
