Public Health Sciences Research Studies

The Department of Public Health Sciences at Henry Ford Health supports research studies that help us better understand health and improve care. Our department leads a wide range of research opportunities, including many federally funded studies supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Our work focuses on health questions that affect patients, families, and communities across Detroit, Michigan, and beyond.

By taking part in our research opportunities, eligible participants may help answer important questions about asthma and allergy, cancer, pediatrics, primary care, women's health, prevention, patient reported health outcomes, and more. These studies help researchers better understand how diseases and health conditions develop, how care can be improved, and how research can better reflect the people and communities it serves.
