Adult and dedicated Pediatric Emergency Rooms open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
For nearly 75 years, Henry Ford St. John Hospital has been a trusted health care institution with deep roots in Detroit and surrounding communities. Now strengthened by a connection to Henry Ford Health, our 641-bed hospital is building on that legacy to deliver an even stronger future for health care across the region.
We provide 24-hour emergency care through a Level I Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, along with advanced heart and vascular, cancer, stroke, orthopedics, and neurology services.
Our full-service St. John Children’s Hospital delivers expert pediatric specialty care for infants, children and teens. In addition to our dedicated children’s emergency department, we offer a pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric surgical services, as well as an adjoining birthing center with a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and special care nursery.
