Rochester Hills Resident Named Chief Integrity Officer for Henry Ford Health System

DETROIT – Rochester Hills resident Candyce Foreman has been named Vice President of Business Integrity and Chief Integrity Officer for Henry Ford Health System.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Foreman will be responsible for the administration of a continuous and proactive Business Integrity/Compliance program across all Henry Ford operations. She will collaborate with leaders to compare healthcare system operations with regulatory standards, as well as implement changes and improvements to improve compliance.

Part of her focus will be to develop strategies and processes to prevent fraud and abuse. She will also work to enhance operations through reporting, enforcement, monitoring, auditing, investigation, remediation, education, the Code of Conduct, and all policies and procedures related to the Compliance program.

Previously, Foreman served as the System’s Chief Audit and Enterprise Risk Officer for three years. Prior to her employment with Henry Ford, she served the organization in a consulting role. As a senior manager for Deloitte & Touche, her professional experience encompasses serving a number of healthcare providers and payors, including Henry Ford as well as other not-for-profit organizations. Foreman also spent more than 10 years as the Controller of a regional hospital with responsibility for all accounting and finance functions. Her experience includes several years as a chief financial officer of a home care company.

Foreman has served on several community boards as President and currently serves the Girl Scouts of Southeast Michigan as Board Vice Chair, Audit Committee Chair and as a Finance Committee member. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Foreman, a Michigan native, her husband, Michael, and their two daughters are all Detroit Tigers fans. She enjoys spending time with her family and longtime friends. She also enjoys musicals and has season subscriptions to both Broadway in Detroit and the DSO Pops concert series. Foreman participates in a monthly book club and loves trying out new Detroit restaurants.
