Mustafa Al-Shammari, MD

Biographical Statement

Dr. Mustafa Al-Shammari is a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases. He provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), intestinal disorders, liver and digestive diseases, and colorectal cancer screening. His clinical expertise includes colonoscopy, upper endoscopy and the management of complex gastrointestinal conditions.

Dr. Al-Shammari earned his medical degree from the University of Al Mustansiriyah. He completed one year in surgery training at Saint Agnes Hospital before pursuing an internal medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital, where he received advanced training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and the management of digestive disorders.
