Biographical Statement

Dr. Caxton-Idowu specializes in obstetrics and gynecology. She builds relationships with her patients and provides care from adolescence through menopause. Dr. Caxton-Idowu provides prenatal care to women and manages both low risk and high-risk pregnancies. Nothing brings her more joy than guiding women through their pregnancy and the delivery of their child.  Dr. Caxton-Idowu focuses on women’s health and provides annual gynecological exams as well as management of abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fibroids, infertility, and surgery. She provides a minimally invasive approach to surgery including the da Vinci robotic surgical system. Dr. Caxton-Idowu believes it is her job to empower patients to be involved in shared decision making for their healthcare. She has a strong desire to educate and advocate for her patients.
