Danielle L Heidemann, MD

Care Philosophy:

Dr Heidemann is passionate about caring for her patients as a whole and developing continuity of care with them over time. She is dedicated to serving patients of all backgrounds and is committed to providing long-term care to her patients at Henry Ford Main Campus Hospital. She works with a team of medical assistants, nurses, and resident doctors to provide the most comprehensive care for her patients.

Biographical Statement:

Dr Heidemann is an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine residency program and Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. She attended Wayne State University Medical School, where she graduated in 2012 with high distinction and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. She rotated at Henry Ford Hospital during her medical school clerkship and has been there ever since- completing her internal medicine residency in 2015. She was selected for a chief medical resident position following her training. In her free time she enjoys reading, meditation, yoga, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
