Marcus L Jamil, MD

Biographical Statement

Marcus L. Jamil, M.D., is a Genitourinary Reconstructive Urologist at the Vattikuti Urology Institute and Urology Service Chief at Henry Ford West Bloomfield. He received his undergraduate degree at Oakland University and his M.D. from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in urology at the Vattikuti Urology Institute at Henry Ford Hospital. He then pursued and completed a fellowship in genitourinary reconstructive surgery at the renowned Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts.

Dr. Jamil’s clinical interests are in the management and care for complex urologic conditions which include urethral and ureteral stricture disease, fistula of the urinary tract, Peyronie’s disease, erectile dysfunction, post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence, acquired buried penis, urinary diversion and urologic trauma. He employs both open and minimally invasive approaches to best care for his patients.
